IPS Press Release - 16-6-2019

Dear Patrons,

IPS supports IMA call for withdrawal of nonessential medical services on June 17, 2019.

We extend our support to the IMA’s clarion call for protest by wearing black ribbon/badges from June 14th to 17th and withdrawal of non-essential
medical services from 6 am on 17/06/2019 to 6 am on 18/06/2019. Emergency can casualty services will remain operational.

We appeal to all members of IPS to show our strong solidarity towards our doctor brothers in West Bengal and stand with them in these troubled times.

We are sympathetic to the inconvenience caused by our protests to patients, but unfortunately this is the only way to make our voice heard.
We once again strongly condemn the attack on Dr. Paribaha Mukherjee and pray for his speedy recovery and hope that no other doctor suffers a similar
