Dear Sir/Madam,
In view of the recent developments in NMC professional conduct regulations 2023 we regret to inform that the MIDCIPS 2023 supposed to be held on 26-27 August 2023 in Srinagar is postponed due to reasons beyond the control of the organising committee and the Indian Psychiatric Society. The dates of the rescheduled MIDCIPS 2023 will be intimated by tomorrow (23 August 2023) after discussing with the organisers.
The above decision was reached after a request came from the organising committee of MIDCIPS 2023 for postponement due to their inability to hold conference in this testing time of changed NMC regulations.
Lots of deliberations among the Executive Council members in consultation with some senior members of Indian Psychiatric Society let to accepting the request of the local organisers.
We all are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
