This guideline aids Mental Health Practitioners to gather and analyse information from multiple sources towards gaining a comprehensive understanding of problems of children (0-12 years) and adolescents (13-18 years), and includes detailed guidance on dealing with expected difficulties, the important aspects of assessment, and the role of structured assessment tools are discussed.
