Summary: Lays out guidelines for effective and comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), updating a previous IPS guideline of 2007. This includes the assessment of core components of ADHD and common comorbidities; methods of grading severity, and methods to formulate and implement a treating plan that includes interventions directed children, parents and teachers. The role of stimulant and non-stimulant medication, including recommendations on starting, continuing and stopping medication are discussed.
