This guideline addresses methods for the clinical assessment of various types of specific learning disorder, and the role of measures including psychometric assessments, intelligence testing, and tests of achievement (with specific reference to locally available tests). Academic, medical and psychological interventions are described, and their role in treatment for core deficits and comorbidities.
