FOCUS OF THE MONTHIndian Journal of Psychiatry
Congratulations to the Indian Journal of Psychiatry for reaching Impact Factor 2.98 for the year 2022.
The Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) is the oldest & largest organization of Psychiatrists & allied mental health professionals of India.
The IPS commands an extensive national network, with 5 major Zonal Branches, 29 State Branches, & greater than 80 sub-sections.
It is my great previledge and honor to lead IPS for the year 2022. I thank you for all your support. Despite the continuing pandemic of the COVID-19, the Indian Psychiatric society has indeed performed a commendable work, in the field of academics, research and advocacy under the able leadership of the outgoing Hon. Office Bearers of the year 2021. I congratulate them for a succesful term in the IPS.
However, the time has come to move onward with zeal and passion for the future development of the society. For the year 2022, I request support of each and every member of the society to come forward to action.
Let us all work together and make IPS a force that dispells stigma and usher in the new era of mental health.
Dr. NN Raju – President IPS.
